Scripture:

But you did not learn Christ in this way! If in fact you have [really] heard Him and have been taught by Him, just as truth is in Jesus [revealed in His life and personified in Him]. Ephesians 4:20-21 AMP

How long have you been a Christian? How long have you belonged to God's family? Maybe you were born into a Christian family or, you've just given your life to Christ. Maybe you're one of those on the fringes, not sure whether to jump in fully or stay away. Whichever category you belong to, you must have heard or known about Jesus Christ for a bit. What have you learned about him that you can use as a yardstick? How have you learned him? If we were in school, we would be tasked to tell or show what we've learnt the whole semester or term; to summarize a course we've been taking through the term. Even if you've been in Christ for just a day, you have learned something about him; there was something that drew you to Christ. What could it be and how is that attribute shaping up your own life? If anyone were to ask you, what have you learned about Christ how would you answer? May the attributes and character of Jesus Christ, shape our own lives. May we pass everything through the lens of Christ before embarking on it. May we ask for his direction in all ways. May we exhibit what we've learnt about Christ in our lives and everywhere we go. Importantly, may others not question us about the Christ we claim to be following.

Let's pray: Give us the grace to be more like you Jesus Christ. Give us the grace and wisdom to live what we've learnt about and from you. We ask and pray in your precious name, Jesus. Amen
