Not to us, I Lord, not to us, but to Your name give glory because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth and faithfulness. Psalm 115:1 AMP
Isn't it awesome to be in the last month of the year? To be standing inside the month; not on the threshold or cast out. It can only be God. It can only be God who has kept us and ushered us into this final phase of the year. It sounds morbid, when we always make reference to those who were not fortunate to see this day, but that's the unfortunate truth. We walked the same paths, ate and did the same things all humans do, yet we're here they're not. Is it something we did? Is it because of a healthy lifestyle we adopted? Or a healthy regime we started? We might not grasp it fully, but it's only by the mercy and grace of God that we've not been run down by circumstances. God's faithfulness is the reason we're here. It's because God has prevented the evil plans from succeeding. In this year, when most economies are failing, we've been able to start new jobs, been promoted, started new businesses, moved into new homes. Some of us have married. Many of us have travelled. Many of us have began new things. And we're still expecting more. It's just been by grace. It's been God's hand and faithfulness in remembering us. We return all the glory to his holy and powerful name.
Let’s pray: Thank you Abba Father. Take all the glory, honour and adoration for my life. May it always bring glory to you. Amen
