Scripture:

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas. Psalm 46:2 AMP

We will not fear though the earth should change. And boy has the earth changed! Alll around us change has come hard, and is coming at such a fast pace that all the things we knew and held onto, for sanity, for life, seems to have unravelled right in front of our eyes. Our traditions, our beliefs, our principles, our values, our humanity; nothing seems to have been spared. We are aware that generations change over time, yet this change has been on a drastic tempo. It has left us fearful, anxious, jittery and unsure. The world of work has changed, economies have changed. Homes and finances have changed. Even sexual and gender orientations have changed. But guess who or what hasn't changed? God. His person hasn't changed neither has his words. In all of these upheavals, our God has been our refuge. He has been a constant figure and factor to life. He has been our Rock. Again and again he has proven to those of us who believe in him that he is our immovable foundation. The world may have changed but God has not. With God we will not be afraid. With God we are secure. May we receive the spirit of boldness to walk with heads high knowing for a truth that God walks with us always.

Let's pray:  Jesus Christ, I invite you into my vessel. With you beside me, I will smile at every storm. Amen
