Scripture:
But [in fact] He has borne our griefs, and He has carried our sorrows and pains; yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken, struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him]. Isaiah 53:4 AMP

The Prophecy reveals that Christ has carried our griefs i.e anything that causes us to be deeply moved by sadness,  pain, helplessness, tears, unhappiness. Then he goes on to say Christ himself has carried away our sorrows and pain. In other words, those things that distress us, that feeling caused by loss, disappointment, regret, sadness, anguish and heartbreak; physical and emotional pain, have been removed by Christ. The Prophecy goes on to say that even though Christ erased all the guilt and pain of such distressing emotions, we think it was a result of God punishing him. Not at all. It was love that made him collect and carry the weight of what we would never be able to carry. God never degraded Christ. In fact, he was upgraded and given a superior name that is stronger and more powerful than any name. But what does that mean for you and I? It means those things that should be causing us emotional pain and anguish should in fact have no power over us. Just as we confess the stripes of Christ, for our physical ailments, we have to learn to confess Christ for our emotional ailments. The work of the Cross was and is total. He removed our spiritual, physical and emotional ailments and burdens. Christ covered all fronts so we would be whole.

Let's pray: Thank you Jesus Christ. For the provision of spiritual, physical and emotional health. May the blood wash away any residue of doubts and set us free. In your name Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
