Scripture:
And they were saying to one another, "Who will roll back the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?" Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, though it was extremely large. Mark 16:3-4 AMP

Christ's death and resurrection has so many benefits that if we're not particular about finding them, living and walking in them, it would be like he died in vain. All he did before the cross, on the cross and after the cross, He did for you and I. He did it so we could return to our place of power, freedom and relationship with God.  That stone that the women were contemplating how to roll, had been rolled away before they got there. That's the power of God's knowledge and the beauty of His love. He anticipates our needs and provides even before the need. The Romans and Jews had 'locked-in' Jesus or so they thought. They thought he would stay in the darkness forever forgetting that He is the light. If death could not keep him in the grave, would a stone keep him back? Obviously not. He removed the spiritual and physical resistance so we would be overcomers. He has removed any spiritual or physical impediments to our progress. Any stone keeping us locked down, shut up and in the dark, has been rolled away. Psalm 24 commands all ancient gates and doors to open up before the King of Glory. We walk and live and have our being in this King of Glory therefore, those ancient gates have been removed so we can pass through. Remember we're walking with Christ and not on our own. Don't leave Christ behind when things begin to go well.

Let's pray: Thank you Jesus Christ for your immense power that you exhibited for our sakes. May we live in your power and in your name all the days of our lives. Amen
