Scripture:
Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. 2 Peter 3:8 AMP

If we could understand everything about God, he would cease to be God. Amongst ourselves as humans, we can't say we fully understand what the other human being is doing. God's timing and his calendar are one of those things that baffles us; some say he's too slow and so they look for quicker alternatives. Others think his timing is just right because they received what they prayed about just in time. And for some, they're in-between. No matter what we think or how we perceive God, his timing is always on point. He's never too late or too early; he is always on time. In the verse above, Peter states the fact that God is timeless. What we calculate as a day, could be a thousand years to God. And to God, what appears to be a thousand years, is just a day. Our perspectives are different and we need to be looking through God's spectacles, through his lens. Nothing fazes God, because he's got his hand on the pulse and will do what he will do at the time he has to do it. What this scripture teaches you and I is that God is always working on the spectrum of time: whether it is long or short, he's on it. He will act when the timing is just right.

Let's pray: we may not understand your moves or your timing God, but we will trust that whatever you do will be right with us and for us. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen
