Scripture:
Do not fear, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things! Joel 2:21 AMP
The Lord has done great things indeed! At certain times, we can't stand our own company yet God has never left us alone. He has kept to his promise of never leaving us nor forsaking us. And for that we're grateful. Count the number of days we've completed so far this year. In it we've enjoyed free air, we've had free sunshine, rainfall here and there to refresh the atmosphere, with the occasional rainbow to beautify the landscape. God has been good and we're thankful to him for not charging us for these gifts. In our failing economies, some of us have been blessed with new jobs, some of us have travelled; not only to our villages but outside our nations. We have slept while on the road and returned safely. God has indeed done great things for us. In our countries, whether there is political turmoil or not, we're not in the streets, we've not been killed or maimed, we're alive. God has done great things. Above all the eyes to see and read, the capacity to process and understand what is being said, written, etc.; we say of a truth God has done and is doing great things for us in the land of the living. We are thankful and grateful. May our praises each day and time be to this God who is still blessing us daily.
Let's pray: Father, please do great things in my life. Perform your great works in my life. And I will continue to praise and worship you all the days of my life. Amen
