So Isaiah the prophet called out to the Lord, and He brought the shadow on the steps ten steps backward by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz. 2 Kings 20:11 AMP
Our God is the only God ever known and recorded, to have the ability to compress time and to stretch time. That's because he owns time even though he doesn't live in time. He's the God who can reverse the irreversible. Otherwise, how could he possibly move time backwards? We know time runs forward and we can never rewind the hands of time. But God can. This is particularly good for us who believe and trust in God because there's nothing too late for us. If God hasn't said it's over, then definitely it's not over. If God hasn't said it's finished, then definitely, it's not finished. God has more in store for me and you. This year has far been spent and many of us may be wondering when that breakthrough will happen. God can turn the sundial back just for you and I. God has the power to make the time stop until he has done what he needs to do for us before the year runs out. Our God can reverse the time, so we can get back those opportunities we lost. God can move and orchestrate time so it will look like we've not missed or lost anything. A day is too long for God. He moves by nano seconds not hours. God can stretch and add to our years so we fulfill our assignment, so we can enjoy all our years of hard work and labour. God can do it. Forget about the years and times that didn't seem to work. Begin today by believing there's nothing that's impossible for this God. He alone can reverse the irreversible.
