Scripture:
I made the earth and created man upon it. My hands stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host. Isaiah 45:12 AMP
We have the tendency as humans, to gloss over God's power; who God really is. We can't comprehend his absolute power. God has power over everything and everyone. What does that song say? "When I look at the mountains, look at the valleys, look at the sea O my Lord you are God"! When we put things in the right perspective; mental and physical limitations, we realize there is no greater God than our God. In our scripture, God tells us, He made the earth and everything in it. His hands stretched the heavens like a curtain over our heads. But don't miss this: He (God) commands all the hosts of the earth and in heaven. He is the original Commander-in-Chief of heaven and earth. When he commands, it is done. When he speaks, things fall into place. No arguments. God is over and above all things. That's how powerful God is. I'm telling you, if you are in God's household things should be sweet for you. A few stubborn ones, here and there, will try to challenge our authority as children of God. However, the Commander-in-Chief is our relative, nothing and no one dares to defy him. Our God is God.
Let's pray: For who you are, we say thank you. Thank you for your power to tear down and breakthrough. In any way that we're stuck not moving forward, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, command them to give way. Amen
