Scripture:
O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His compassion and lovingkindness endure forever! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary. Psalm 107:1-2 AMP
If those who do not know our God; those who have yet to taste and know how good this God is; if they have nothing to praise God about, that is their problem. But for us who have known this God intimately, that should not be our storyline. If they have no gratitude for God, we do, in spades. We have much to thank God for. We are grateful for God's favour upon us and over our lives. We are grateful for the speaking blood of Jesus Christ. The blood that is still powerful as the day it was shed on Calvary. We appreciate the presence of the Holy Spirit, who guides and guards us. The Holy Spirit our powerhouse. We appreciate his presence and his counsel. We are thankful that God chose us. He chose us, redeemed us from the power of the devil, paid our full salvation price and brought us into his kingdom; not as paupers or slaves but as children and heirs. Even if we don't mention any of God's miracles in our lives, the many answers to our prayers, the signs and wonders, we still have a lot to thank God for. And so as the Psalmist instructs us to do, we the redeemed of the Lord will say it loud and clear: *God is good and his mercy endures forever*. We have tasted and enjoyed his love, mercy and grace towards us.
Let's pray: We're unable to recount every single miracle we've received from you Father Lord. But we are grateful, thankful and humbled that we have you in our lives. Thank you Lord.
