Scripture:
With this in view, we constantly pray for you, that our God will count you worthy of your calling [to faith] and with [His] power fulfill every desire for goodness, and complete [your] every work of faith. 2 Thessalonians 1:11 AMP

Did you add an "amen" to the prayer by Apostle Paul? He's praying for believers the world over, that God in his infinite mercy will count us worthy and fulfill everything we do in or by faith. Imagine such a great General in God's Army praying for you? Great isn't it? On a more realistic note, Apostle Paul's prayer is to give us great confidence that every time we step out in faith, on God's word or faith in his name, God has a responsibility to confirm the desire we have. In other words, he's asking God to validate our faith actions. It doesn't matter if our faith is as solid as a rock, or, as little as a mustard seed. The most important thing in this prayer is that God will see our intentions and act on it confirming the desire to do good. Another aspect of this prayer that Paul prays is for settlement, completion and perfection of every step we take in faith. Wow! That's why we should add an amen to this prayer. He says clearly that God should fulfill and complete every work of faith for us. Meaning that any time we pray, desire something or embark on an action through faith, God has an obligation to ensure it doesn't hang. God has an obligation to ensure it's fully actualized, activated, fulfilled and completed. The only reason God will do this is because we acted out in faith. Remember Hebrews 11:6? He who comes to God must first believe that he is and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. May God step in when we step out in faith. May God perform his mighty acts each time we engage our faith. May God do what only he can do for us.

Let's pray Father, do for us what only you can do. Amaze us with your wondrous acts. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
