Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another that you may be healed and restored. James 5:16a AMP

Are you wondering what to buy for loved ones this Christmas? Sometimes, you wonder, what can you give to someone who seems to have it all? And then it looks like all the likely gifts have been given already. As the elders say, it's not the item but the thoughts and intentions behind it that matters.  But have you thought about giving a gift of prayer? In addition to whatever gift we finally settle on, or don't have the financial means to purchase, we can give the most powerful gift of all. It is inexpensive and yet wields absolute power over everything. It covers distance, space, geographic boundaries and even has power in the spirit realms. The gift of prayer. Prayer changes everything and everyone. It can practically move mountains, changes life's, and brings peace where there was none. How can you give a gift of prayer? Very simple. You can either write out a prayer for the person or person's. You can pray for them in your closet, and better still, you can call to pray with them. In this season, hearts are open to receive goodness, hearts are open to receive love and God is ready to fill every gap.

Let's pray: we ask for a heart of compassion and love in this giving season. Open our eyes to see the true needs of others and as we pray one for another, dear Father, please send speedy answers. Thank you Lord. Amen.
