Scripture:
What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we are not under Law, but under [God's] grace? Certainly not! Romans 6:15 AMP

Grace justifies us and makes us free from the guilt of sin. God's grace covers our faults and makes us blameless so we can enjoy eternal life and God's salvation. But do we have to continue in sin because of grace? Do we have to continue in our old ways doing all those things we used to do like nothing happened? Can't we allow the change to show in us, through us and around us? There's a children's activity game called "change your style". When the leader of the game shouts "change your style", the rest of the children copy what the leader is doing; they change their poses to reflect that of the leader. It's time we changed our styles to reflect the true change of being born again believers. We can't claim to have been born again and yet continue with our 'old' way of living like nothing happened. Something happened. We got saved and changed through the death of Christ on the cross. Our leader in life is Christ. He has changed our style. In our changed state, as believers and as followers of Christ, we're expected to walk habitually in the newness of life abandoning our old ways. May God's grace keep us from moving back into our old rhythms of sin and shame. May God's grace strengthen us to live in the newness that salvation brings. May we truly change our style to live as victorious Christians. May we follow in the principles and values of Christ Jesus.

Let's pray: Father, help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. May I not abuse your grace. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen
