Scripture:
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:39 KJV.
Can you receive the promise too? Yes you can. The only caveat is that you respond to the call of God. The promises of God are for you, your children and even those who do not yet know God. You see, our God is not a respecter of persons. He calls all and sundry; everyone who comes to him stands the chance of receiving the promise. In Romans 8:28 scripture says "all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose". What's God's purpose for us? That we might all come to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus. That we will believe that Christ is the Son of the Living God and that through him, our sins have been washed away. Have you heard the call? How have you responded? Do you want to partake in the promise? Then answer God's call and return to him. God is not looking for any fanciful life or for us to prove anything to him. Just as we are, today, like this, he's asking us to come to him. He's got so much he wants to bless us with. But first, we have to come to him.
