Scripture:
Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. 3 John 1:2 AMP

Did you know this passage is a prayer? John the Apostle begins with "Beloved I pray". So the expected response to this passage is "Amen"; Lord let it be. Like every prayer sent heavenward to God, it will receive an answer. He is asking God to grant us success in all that we do. In our careers, jobs, academics, business; in fact everything that concerns us, John has asked God that he grants us success in all aspects of our lives. Amen Then he prays for good health for us. What's the point in being successful if we can't enjoy it? He has prayed for good health in our bodies and in our minds. Physical strength and wholeness plus mental agility from God Almighty. Amen Lord, let it be. He doesn't stop there. John prays for spiritual blessings for us as well. He's asking God for spiritual health and wellness. He's praying for us so that we do not turn back from the faith we have found. He's praying for us so we will be steadfast in our spirit and discern good from evil. He's praying for us to receive spiritual maturity. His main prayer for us though, is success; to succeed in every way of life; financially, physically and spiritually. All round success in all aspects of our lives in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Let's pray: Father, hear our prayer and answer us speedily. Bless us in all that we do and let us prosper and see progress physically, financially and spiritually. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
