Scripture:

Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to [the abundance of] His greatness. Psalm 150:1-2 AMP

What shall we say? What can we say? How can we give appropriate thanks to God? We can thank him sincerely with our testimonies and through our praises. If we were to do a review of the year; an honest personal review, we would have no option than to prostrate ourselves before the God who is known as the I AM THAT I AM. He has solidly been the force behind us. Not once has he complained or said he was fed up with us. He has been everything to us. He has been our Rock; putting to flight all those who came against us in diverse ways. He has not allowed the enemies of our progress and lives, to triumph over us. Even if we wept, he has wiped our tears and given us joy and a renewed hope that things will get better; and they will. What can we say? Thank you Father. He has shown us through his acts and answers to our numerous prayers, that he's still in the business of doing good to his children. Even if we didn't get that answer to a particular prayer, because he's answered all the others, we believe he will do that as well. If we were to enumerate the ways and acts of God in our lives only for this year, we'd need more than a day to complete. There are those other things we've forgotten or just taken as a matter of course but it has been through God's grace. What shall we say? Thank you Father God. Thank you. We're thankful and very grateful. Praise be to your Holy name. Hallelujah!

Let’s pray: Thank you for bringing us safely to the last day of this year. We thank you in advance for the New Year. May your name be praised. Amen
