Scripture:
Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the Lord. Psalm 23:6 AMP
Mobile goodness! Ever heard it put that way before? I don't think so. But this gives us an idea of how God's goodness runs after us all the days of our lives. There's not a single day that goes by, that God doesn't assign his goodness package to us. There's no day that God says, "she's had enough, don't go out with her today". And there's no way that God will ask them to stop following us. It's part of our inheritance package. Every day, 24/7, second per second, goodness, mercy and unfailing love shadow us; practically. They tail us like what we see in detective films. It's like having a sensor which signals to heaven our movements. When we stop, they bump into us since they're running after us. When we move, they're moving. There's absolutely no place in this world that we will ever walk alone without goodness, mercy and unfailing love following us. This tells me we have to change our outlook and perspective on life. If we know, without a shadow of doubt, that these powerful allies are with us, then we have to see things from a different lens. We can't live like victims. We can't be fearful. We can't talk defeatist in the presence of goodness. The more we change our confessions and our outlook on life, the more it draws us to God and opens our eyes to see the wonder of each moment. May we live our lives in God's enveloping goodness. May God's unfailing love clothe us. May God's mercy be available on demand.
